Expand Your Wardrobe with His!

Why limit your wardrobe to just your closet? The Fab Chick says, expand your wardrobe with his! Channel you inner tomboy.
"I have a very strong character and I like to be challenged. Men's clothing makes me feel empowered so I often wear a man's suit. Sometimes I think I should have been born a guy!" - Zoe Saladana
The fellas might get a little upset with me for saying this, but since many of us fab chicks are “wearing the pants” anyway, why not grab a pair of his?

Head to his closet and not only grab his jeans for that boyfriend inspired denim look, but also grab his cargo shorts, belt, oxford shirt, tee, and even his fedora.

It’s a great way to make an outfit change when you’ve spent the night at your beau’s house, only to realize you haven’t packed any clothes for the next day. With no time to run home, make his closet yours.

Don’t let your fab-ness fly out the window.

Take a brief moment, comb through his closets and drawers. You’ll be surprised at the chic outfits you can create by mixing feminine pieces you may already have with his clothing. Get that imagination working!
"I love wearing men's clothing and underwear. I just feel so sexy in jeans and a man's shirt." - Zoe Saldana
For those of us without that man around to go through his closet, head to the men’s department, grab a couple pieces that you can easily work into your existing wardrobe for that men’s inspired look.

Hey, that’s what I do!
I have always had this love affair with men’s’ clothing. So much so that when I’m shopping, I often venture through the men’s departments mentally check marking items I would wear. I even buy men’s clothes for myself sometimes.

The key to making his things work for you is to always incorporate something feminine in your look. Make sure to add accessories. Accessorizing is key!

Pick your items wisely. If they are WAY too big in size, be cognizant that you may need to belt, pin, and/or tuck something to keep from looking sloppy.

We can all agree and say in unison, being sloppy is not FAB!

So if life should place you in a situation with only a man’s wardrobe, don’t fret. I say, get a little androgynous, channel you inner tomboy, and let that fab chick shine through. Hey, stranger things have happened.
