Spring Shoe Store Opening Event
Shoes, Booze, Gift Cards & Chaos

Yesterday Spring Shoes Store, the sister company to Aldo Shoes celebrated the launch of a new store in the Manhattan Mall. Hosted by Shine Media PR and Call It Spring, the celebration attracted many invitees to check out the collection while sipping on refreshing cocktails, partaking in delicious appetizers, and shopping with the $150 gift card that was gifted to us all.
Did someone say shopping? And with a free gift card? Let’s get it!

Having checked out a Spring Shoe Store before, I knew what to expect from the selection; moderately priced, trendy styles in ‘so so’ quality. Either way, I was going to take full advantage of the shopping experience. Hey a fab chick has to know how to shop and look fab on a budget right? Just because you can’t afford a designer pair of shoes doesn’t mean you have to give up your fab chick-ness. So this store maybe perfect for some of you.

The store was beyond packed. But even in my frustration and becoming cluster phobic, I managed to get a few good looks of the selection for you all. Check out some style I deemed fab chick approved:

Want to know what I bought with my $150 gift card?

With keeping my favorite fall fashion trends in my mind, here’s what I got.

My lace-up obsession continues with these brown faux suede wedge booties, which will be perfect with jeans for super casual days to the office this fall.
Did any of you check out my fall 2010 handbag trend report on Polished Image and Style? If so, then you would have known that I reported the drawstring handbag as a must have bag for this season. Hence, I got this:
And it’s gray, a color I'm loving for fall.

I love knit scarves. Remember knitwear made it as one of my top 10 favorite fall trends, so I decided to get this:
And check out the color. Army green. Perfect for pulling together military inspired looks while staying warm.

With a few bucks to spare on my gift card, I think I will head back to pick up this cute little statement piece. I actually had it in my possession to purchase it, but somehow it got lost in all the chaos.

And as if gifting us all $150 gift cards, Spring Shoes gave gift bags with a cute little cross body chain bag.
