The key to pulling off a colored leather jacket is to pay attention to the silhouette, the color, and the type of skin in which the leather jacket comes in.
· Choose a silhouette that works well with your body type.
· Choose leather in a color that works well with you skin tone. Stay away from colors that will wash you out. Also keep in mind, there's no need to be matchy matchy EVER. So you shouldn't feel a need to pick a leather jacket in a color to match anything in your wardrobe. Let the jacket stand out alone.
· Choose leather jackets in supple skins when wearing it in a color. Stiff and hard leather, i.e cowhide tend to look cheap especially when in a color.
