Fab Chick NYFW: Fall/Winter 2010
Cynthia Steffe

Under creative director Shaun Kearney, the Fall 2010 Cynthia Steffe collection was filled with quite a bit of texture. There was leather and tweeds for the modern school girl looking to add a few lux items to her closet.

The collection comprised of youthful silhouettes and mini skirts shown in a few variations with the pleated mini as the stand out. Thigh highs seem to be a trend we can expect for next fall, which is right on cue for Cynthia Steffe's school girl look. Less good girl gone bad, more bad girl gone good.

The color palette stuck to basic fall-like colors of browns, tans, grays, and blacks. I will say it did have a chic functional appeal. There are definitely pieces that you can carry back to your existing wardrobe. Loved the gray flat front trousers. All in all, I did like the collection and of course, I've already eyed a few fab pieces!
