Fab Chick: Spring 2010 Trend AlertOveralls...They're BACK!

Last Spring it was all about the romper. Rompers in all different fabrications and silhouettes ruled the catwalks of the runways as well as the streets. It was a playful and sweet reminder to the onsies our moms dressed us up in. The down fall, getting them off to use the bathroom. But like many trends that create uncomfortable situations, Fab Chicks will suffer a tad bit to look fabulous, within reason we hope.

Next up for Spring 2010 in the same direction of the romper are overalls. Remember OshKosh B'Gosh? Well this time around you'll be wearing overalls from Chole, or Ralph Lauren. Spring 2010 runways have shown very updated takes on the overalls. Designers have debuted them in the traditional denim, as well as leather and satins for an updated twist.

Like the romper, the overall isn't for everyone. If you do decide that this is a trend you would like to add to your wardrobe, keep in mind that fit is very important in pulling this look off. Overalls should not be too form fitting. They should be loose but not oversized. Another thing to remember is to keep the embellishments to a minimum. The overall is already a lot of look so no need to over do it.

PS. Please leave the graffitti embellished styles of the early 90's in the back of the closets where they belong!
