The Red Carpet Looks

Last night was the premiere of "Whip It" at the Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA. Check out a few looks and commentary of what we liked and disliked on the red, well actually the carpet. Some played it a little more casual then others, but a few fab looks nonetheless.

Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore looks great in this black sleek leather sleeveless sheath dress. The fit is perfect. The stalk contrast of the red satin pumps keeps the outfit playful. Our favorite part of this look is the red center back exposed zipper. Very edgy. And she kept her make up simple which was a great choice, but we would have loved a subtle smokey eye just to take the look up a notch.

Eve
We love Eve's look. From her make-up, to her dress, she looks great. Loving the puff shoulders and the color choice of the dress. The princess lines on the bodice create a flattering and feminine shape, showing off her curves tastefully. The hair is just ok for us with this look.

Serena Williams
Serena's gold sequins top plays up a classic black suit in a fun and chic way. The gold top takes her look out of boredom for a bit. Not completely in love with the pant silhouette. The capri length is 'eh' for us. Overall, the look isn't 100% FAB, but it's chic and we get it.

Juliette Lewis
Juliette is definitely a fashion risk taker for this look. She's not quite Lady GaGa status, but this we must say went there a tiny bit. Although we love that she's take fashion risks, we don't like the overall look for her. The red and black lace overlay gloves were way too much for this look. Separately we love all the components of this look, together this look a tab messy for us.

Krysten Ritter
This look exemplifies a great way to play up a casual t-shirt. The pencil skirt is very sexy. Krysten's shoe and bag combo are right on. We love the cheetah print clutch and the printed peep toe shoes! The red lips seals this look nicely.

Ellen Page
Two word describes this look. Cute and edgy. We love the cut out booties with this mini dress. The studded clutch is perfect with this ensemble. The silver detailing along with the silver layered chain necklace breaks up this all black look well. Simple and chic.

Shenae Grimes
This dress is very cute. Shenae went with what we like to call a new age Mary Jane pump. The shoe was a cool choice without looking too school girl-ish. The double strapping on the shoe create a uniformity with the horizontal strips in her black and cream dress, which we love !

Stephanie Jacobsen
This look is cute and simple, perfect for hanging out or shopping. We feel this a bit too casual for the event. Stephanie could have took the look up a notch by swapping the shorts for maybe a mini. This would still offer the comfort it looks like she was going for. We love the shoes!!
